Published Sunday, Mar 12, 2023

Pace Publishing, Pace Gallery’s imprint, will open a pop-up bookshop in New York on Friday, March 17. Situated within Pace’s 508 West 25th Street gallery, the pop-up will feature a rotating selection of titles from Pace Publishing’s robust archive as well as new and recent publications.

Catalogues documenting historic group exhibitions presented by Pace and vintage books on Jean Dubuffet, Louise Nevelson, Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, and other key figures in the gallery’s history will be available to purchase at the pop-up. These offerings will be displayed alongside recently released Pace Publishing titles focusing on Beatriz Milhazes, Kohei Nawa, Yoshitomo Nara, Robert Nava, Prabhavathi Meppayil, Elmgreen & Dragset, Wifredo Lam, and Qiu Xiaofei.

New publications coming soon to the pop-up include Richard Pousette Dart: Spirit and Substance, produced on the occasion of the gallery’s recent Richard Pousette-Dart exhibition in New York, and a booklet dedicated to the 2023 Love Letter group exhibition, which convened works by Loie Hollowell, Harminder Judge, Agnes Pelton, and Ghulam Rasool Santosh at Pace’s New York flagship.

Pace Publishing’s pop-up bookshop will be open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
