With gravity-defying work that seems to tilt, contort, bend, and melt, Shechet’s sculptures appear to be set in motion while unearthing the expressive potential of material and forms and forcing us to sit with—and move around—its contradictions.Learn More EXHIBITION DETAILSArlene Shechet Big SisterFeb 11 – Jun 6, 2026Above: Arlene Shechet, Big Sister, 2025 © Arlene Shechet GALLERY1201 South La Brea AvenueLos Angeles CONNECT (opens in a new window) @arleneshechet (opens in a new window) @pacegallery Journal View All Press Arlene Shechet in The New York Review of Books May 15, 2025 Museum Exhibitions Arlene Shechet at Catskill Art Space May 14, 2025 Artist Projects Arlene Shechet and Hank Willis Thomas at Governors Island May 06, 2025 Exhibitions Our Artists at the Amsterdam Sculpture Biennale ARTZUID May 01, 2025 Overview About the Artist Exhibition Details Journal
