An integral figure in the gallery’s history, Nevelson and Pace Founder Arne Glimcher shared a close, decades-long relationship. The Nevelson Chapel at St Peter’s Lutheran Church in midtown Manhattan—the only remaining permanent, fully intact sculptural environment by Louise Nevelson comprising nine wall-mounted sculptures—is undergoing a major restoration project.
