Films Turn Into Anything: Kiki Smith at the Foundry Published Monday, Dec 22, 2026 Renowned American artist Kiki Smith takes viewers inside the foundry in Hudson Valley New York where her sculptural investigations in bronze—including stars, owls, and bird reliefs—come into being. Smith works onsite at the foundry, taking guidance from the material processes in wax, wood, clay, and paper of which each piece is composed. "Making something informs what you're doing, and it reveals it," she says. This glimpse into her process allows for a deeper understanding of Smith's sculptures, which are on view in The Moon Watches the Earth at 125 Newbury through January 10, 2026.
