Films Trevor Paglen's Known Unknowns Published Wednesday, May 10, 2023 In a new film, Trevor Paglen parses issues of subjectivity and deception that surface in his photographs of “unids”—unknown objects in orbit around the Earth that are monitored and tracked by the US military—new video installation spotlighting counterintelligence official Richard Doty, and a new large-scale sculpture inspired by the “challenge coin” used by the US army’s Military Information Support Operations (MISO) command.
