Li Songsong: Material as History

Thirty works by Chinese artist Li Songsong were recently presented in their first solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, Bologna. Now, they have moved onto their new home at the Staatliche Kunsthalle in Baden-Baden, Germany, for an exhibition entitled Material as History, which runs until 7 February 2016. The works chosen for the exhibition examine the changing perception of historical events by present day populations, especially focusing on Chinese attitudes towards the 20th century.
