Watch Lee Kun-Yong's "Snail's Gallop"

Our new film features footage of Lee Kun-Yong's recent performance of Snail's Gallop at our New York gallery, where the artist is presenting a solo exhibition through August 18. Lee, who rose to prominence as a leading figure of the Korean avant-garde movement in the 1970s, discusses his storied career and his unique approach to performance, painting, and other modes of making in this film, explaining, "the artist's body can also become a medium."
