News Pace Welcomes Laura Attanasio as Senior Director to Helm a New Office for Pace Gallery in Berlin Published Tuesday, Jun 6, 2023 Pace is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Attanasio as a Senior Director. In this newly created role, Attanasio will establish a private office for Pace in Berlin. Through its Berlin office, Pace intends to develop deeper artist relationships and establish a larger collector base within German-speaking territories, with particular focus on Germany and Austria. As part of this effort, the gallery will emphasize institutional projects and new opportunities for business development. Attanasio will lead on activity in the DACH region and will more broadly support the gallery’s ongoing projects and expanding vision in Europe, where Pace currently operates permanent gallery spaces in Geneva and London.Prior to joining Pace, Attanasio led the sales team at König Galerie and became their first partner in 2022. There she worked closely with Katharina Grosse, Alicja Kwade, and Elmgreen & Dragset, among other major artists. Attanasio previously worked at the Berlin office of Phillips de Pury and held roles at Galerie Gmurzynska in Zürich and at Peres Projects in Berlin.Attanasio has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School at University College Dublin and a BA in Art History from the Freie Universität Berlin.Laura Attanasio says:"I am thrilled to join Pace Gallery and lead the establishment of a new office in Berlin.
