Films Kenjiro Okazaki Goes Beyond the Self In this new film, Kenjiro Okazaki takes us on a tour of his exhibition at our Seoul gallery, his first-ever solo show in Korea, on view through August 17. Featuring a selection of his recent large-scale paintings and synthetic marble sculptures, Okazaki's presentation in Seoul sheds light on his interest in the vastness and mysteriousness of our world and universe. Here, the artist discusses how his understanding of space and time has transformed in the last few years, and how abstractions can function as records of stories, histories, thoughts, and philosophies, sharing his belief that "the most important thing with creation is how to go beyond the limitations of oneself."
