News Hong Hao and Mao Yan Selected as 2013 Martell Artists of the Year Pace artists Mao Yan and Hong Hao have been selected as two of the 2013 Artists of the Year by World renowned French cognac brand Martell.Innovative yet consistent, Martell has always been committed to promoting and introducing contemporary Chinese artists with creativity and independence to the public. As a documenter of and participator in the growth of Chinese contemporary art, Martell's Artists of the Year Award recognizes brilliant artists at home and abroad, sustaining the promotion of an open and plural contemporary art society. Over the past nine years, a total of 38 prominent artists working with a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, and installation have been awarded by Martell.The winning artists' works will be featured in a group exhibition from June 16 – June 30 at the Today Art Museum.
