Sarah Martin-Nuss, Unfolding, 2026 © Sarah Martin-Nuss Sarah Martin-Nuss Upcoming Apr 11 – May 9, 2026 Los Angeles Pace will mount a focused showcase of five new paintings by Sarah Martin-Nuss at its Los Angeles gallery from April 11 to May 9. This will be the first in a series of short-term, small-scale projects and presentations in the south gallery—adjacent to the main gallery space—by artists within and beyond Pace’s program.Martin-Nuss, whose work was featured in Pace’s recent group exhibition land marks in Los Angeles, is a New York-based artist working across painting, drawing, performance, and sound. Drawing inspiration from biological systems, post- humanist philosophy, and ecology, she explores enactments of transformation and interconnectivity in her practice.Meditating on the ways that temporality, memory, and embodied perception reshape our relationship to space, her symphonic canvases merge painting and drawing to evoke fluidity and change in the atmosphere and the seasons. Layered and gestural, Martin-Nuss’s works respond dynamically to different conditions of light, creating a sense of constant motion and inviting viewers to engage with them from various vantage points. In addition to Pace Los Angeles, her works have been exhibited at Rachel Uffner Gallery, Prince & Wooster, and Pfizer Factory in New York and the Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi. Martin-Nuss’s work is held in numerous collections, including the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection and the Art Museum of South Texas.
