Highlights on Pace’s booth will include a selection of gelatin silver prints by Harry Callahan, Robert Frank, André Kertész, and Irving Penn, whose photographs are the subject of concurrent exhibitions at Bourse de Commerce and the MEP in Paris. These historical works will be shown in conversation with contemporary works embracing the expansive possibilities of photography, including Adam Pendleton’s System of Display, E (PLANET/Quartz) (2022), a mirrored display case with a silkscreened, black-and-white reproduction of a photograph drawn from his personal archive. Pendleton’s solo exhibition Some Wild Kind of Language is on view at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam through January 17, 2027.With its brass surface, Yto Barrada’s Holes in the Moon (lbn Battuta - Green) (2024) similarly investigates material while also evoking the power of toponymy, the naming of things of the natural world. There are names given to the 5000 impact craters riddling our Moon’s surface; in this series, the artist explores the 24 of these depressions named after medieval Islamic scholars. Barrada represents France at the 61st Venice Biennale with the exhibition Comme Saturne, open through November 22, 2026.Other contemporary highlights include Still waiting (2010/2026) by Richard Learoyd, who will present an exhibition at Pace's New York gallery in 2027; Flower 3 (2007) by Kiki Smith, whose solo exhibition An Untethered Journey, co-presented with Pace, runs through January 23, 2027, at Jeffrey Deitch’s Los Angeles gallery; and Cosmic Sea #11 (December 16, 2022 5:25 PM) (2022) by Richard Misrach, whose work will be the subject of a major retrospective at museums in the US and Europe in 2027 and 2028.Pace’s booth will also feature works by: Richard Avedon, David Byrne, Chuck Close, William Eggleston, Emmet Gowin, David Lynch, Trevor Paglen, Gordon Parks, Robert Rauschenberg, RaMell Ross, Lucas Samaras, Ming Smith, Mika Tajima, James Turrell, Andy Warhol, Weegee, and Hank Willis Thomas.
