Pace Publishing’s booth (#J3) will spotlight new and recent titles released between 2022 and 2025, including publications highlighting the practices of Alexander Calder, Nigel Cooke, Pam Evelyn, Robert Frank, Adam Pendleton, and Joel Shapiro, along with signed editions by David Byrne, Maysha Mohamedi, Kohei Nawa, and Paolo Roversi. On the occasion of the fair, Pace Publishing has also created its first-ever, limited-edition artist tote bag, featuring Yto Barrada’s artwork How to Pronounce Artists' Names (2019).In celebration of Pace’s 65th anniversary year, the booth will showcase a selection of rare, vintage titles and ephemera, including Jean Dubuffet: Painted Sculptures (1968), Calder: Stabiles (1989), a 2003 vellum print by Agnes Martin, Yto Barrada: Tree Identification for Beginners (2017), and more. The presentation will also include a capsule of Pace Publishing titles on Lucas Samaras, produced between 1979 and 2023, paying homage to an artist who has been central to the gallery’s program since the mid-1960s.For over six decades, Pace Gallery has been publishing books in collaboration with and in support of its artists, establishing Pace Publishing as one of the longest standing gallery imprints and a pioneer in art bookmaking.Over 500 titles have been created under Pace Publishing, with an enduring focus on original scholarship and innovative design, underpinned by a rigorous and creative approach.
