Online Exhibition The Rejectionists The Drawing Center 2023 Benefit Auction Oct 25 – Nov 8, 2023 On view at Pace’s New York flagship from November 2 to 8, The Rejectionists is organized around the challenge presented by two 20th century masterpieces from the collection of Arne and Milly Glimcher: a 1950 Corps de dame drawing by Jean Dubuffet and a 1961 drawing by Agnes Martin. More than 80 works in The Rejectionists, save the Dubuffet and Martin, will be available for sale through an online silent auction hosted by The Drawing Center during the run of the exhibition. Proceeds will support The Drawing Center, with participating artists receiving a percentage of the artwork sales. These ten highlighted works complement the full online silent auction on The Drawing Center's platform: to learn more and bid, visit (opens in a new window) https://auction.drawingcenter.org/. Bidding begins on Wednesday, October 25 at 12pm EST, and closes on Wednesday, November 8 at 5pm EST. Lots will close in numerical order, one by one, 5 seconds apart. Items that receive final bids in the last 5 seconds will be extended an additional 5 seconds until there is no competing bidding activity for 5 seconds.Fundraising efforts for The Drawing Center will also include a ticketed benefit event—with special guest David Byrne in attendance—held on November 2 from 6–9 p.m. amid the exhibition on the seventh floor of Pace’s New York gallery.
