Everybody Knows...Elizabeth Murray

on PBS American Masters

Friday, September 7

9 PM EST | 8 PM CT

Tune in to PBS on Friday, September 7 at 9 PM EST | 8 PM CT for a special screening of the documentary Everybody Knows...Elizabeth Murray. The film is being screened as part of the "Artists Flight" selection of the American Masters PBS,  and happens to coincide with what would have been the artist’s 78th birthday.

Everybody Knows...Elizabeth Murray, directed by Kristi Zea, is an intimate portrait of the groundbreaking artist Elizabeth Murray. This film explores the relationship between Murray’s family life and career, and reconsiders her place in contemporary art history. Verité footage, home videos and excerpts from her journals, voiced by Meryl Streep, tell of Murray's internal struggles and incredible ambition. Exclusive interviews with art world luminaries provide the historical backdrop for the New York art scene.
