Since 1987, she has dedicated her practice to painting and sculpture. She continues to challenge the concept of representation. As with her early design work, her vividly-colored paintings explore complex arrangements of forms, ideas of depiction versus reality, and the expressive relations between objects and colors.Du Pasquier’s work is currently featured in The Almanach 18, an international biennale organized by Le Consortium, in Dijon, France. Since then, her main focus and passion has been painting. This ongoing investigation has manifested in paintings, sculptures, designs, patterns, constructions, carpets, books, and ceramics—constantly acting between the representational and non-representational, the tangible and intangible, reality and imagination, and two- and three-dimensional forms.
