John Gerrard on Making Social Sculpture for the Present Moment

In our new film, John Gerrard takes us on a journey through his practice, from the 1990s to the present. He discusses the digital works that he has produced over the past several decades, highlighting some of the environmental and geopolitical events that have informed his projects. The artist also explicates his new generative artwork series World Flag, which comprises 194 NFTs that will be released on Art Blocks on June 28.
