Alicja Kwade & Agnes Martin: Rhythm, Equilibrium, and Time

This new film accompanies the duet exhibition Alicja Kwade & Agnes Martin: Space Between the Lines, on view at our Los Angeles gallery through June 29. Here, footage of Kwade's sculptures and Martin's paintings is narrated by Kwade and Pace Founder and Chairman Arne Glimcher, who co-curated the show. Together, Kwade and Glimcher shed light on the natural affinities at play in the presentation, including the two artists' interest in line and moments of suspension.
