Ilya & Emilia Kabakov: Not Everyone Will Be Taken Into the Future

Tate Modern, London

Ilya and Emilia Kabakov: Not Everyone Will Be Taken Into the Future, the first major museum exhibition in the UK dedicated to the Kabakovs, is now on view at the Tate Modern. This comprehensive exhibition examines the full scope of the Kabakovs' career, from Ilya's work as a 'unofficial artist' in the 1960s, to his move to New York in the 1980s and collaborative practice with Emilia thereafter. Coinciding with the centenary of the 1917 Russian Revolution, Not Everyone Will Be Taken Into the Future explores the role of the artist in society during times of uncertainty.

Ilya and Emilia Kabakov: Not Everyone Will Be Taken Into the Future is on view at the Tate Modern in London through January 28, 2018. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the Tate's (opens in a new window) website
