Pace is pleased to present an exhibition featuring artworks by East Palo Alto Charter School students.

The show includes paintings, photographs, and collages by students as well as large-scale, black-and-white photo portraits of the students from artist JR’s participatory Inside Out Project. During the run of the show, the gallery will be open on Monday, April 18 from 11 AM to 6 PM and Sunday, April 24 from 12 PM to 5 PM in addition to its regular hours.

The show includes an interactive wall where visitors can respond to the question “What makes a community to you?” on post-it notes. Writings by EPACS students figure throughout the exhibition, and a video of the students creating their artworks during the pandemic will be presented on a monitor in the gallery.
