Lee Ufan Tour & Opening Reception in East Hampton

On the occasion of our exhibition of new work by Lee Ufan in East Hampton, we're pleased to invite you to an in-person exhibition tour and opening reception at the gallery.

The reception will take place on Saturday, July 24 from 4 – 6 PM. An exhibition tour will begin at 4:15 PM followed by refreshments and light bites.

The exhibition presents new and recent work, foregrounding the artist's distinct approach to color and space. Many of the featured works in the presentation—which runs from July 22 to August 8 and highlights three paintings alongside three watercolors—were created at the artist’s studio in Kamakura, Japan amid the COVID-19 pandemic and its attendant worldwide disruptions. Lee Ufan exemplifies the artist’s interest in inspiring viewers of his work to see the world in new ways.
