With a range of material—including invitations, posters, and catalogues—this presentation will not only provide a glimpse into important milestones in contemporary art history, especially in New York in the ’60s, but it will also provide an overview of Pace’s enduring relationships with artists such as Jean Dubuffet, Agnes Martin, Mark Rothko, and Louise Nevelson. As a continuation of our 65th anniversary year celebration, a bilingual timeline will accompany the ephemera on view, highlighting key moments in Pace’s history as well as American and Japanese art history, from the gallery’s founding in Boston in 1960 to today.
