Louise Nevelson at the Moderna Museet

Louise Nevelson is the subject of a solo exhibition at the Moderna Museet opening September 9, 2017. This exhibition looks at the trajectory of Nevelson's expansive artistic career, examining closely her large-scale sculptures as connected to her practice in collage. From all matte-black wooden sculptures to collages composed with newspaper clippings, Nevelson's work was rooted in the "poetic observations of the overlooked objects."
