The exhibition consists of twenty-three paintings made from 1997 to the present, which show the artist's works in the context of Spanish painting and the evolution of his artistic practice during this period. Schnabel's paintings represent a constant investigation of the various ways of applying and understanding painting, challenging the conventional notions of this medium from his resin portraits to his works made with found objects.Learn more on (opens in a new window) CAC Málaga's website.
