Pace is pleased to participate in the inaugural EXPO CHICAGO, The International Exposition of Contemporary/Modern Art and Design, September 20—23. Please visit us at Navy Pier, 600 E. Highlights include Kiki Smith’s Corsage, 2011, a delicate bronze with gold leaf wall-mounted sculpture that continues the artist’s explorations of the human condition, the body, spirituality and nature; a shimmering mylar sculpture by Tara Donovan from 2009; a dynamic anthropomorphic cast bronze sculpture by Joel Shapiro from 1996-7; a tangerine colored painting from Robert Mangold’s Attic Series (1991); a Progressive Structure by Sol LeWitt from 1997, and Richard Tuttle’s Proglogue, a four panel acrylic on fir plywood wall-mounted work. Pace will also present Maya Lin’s Silver Erie, a recent wall piece from 2012 made of recycled silver. Lin, who has been represented by Pace since2008, will collaborate with theNatural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) at EXPO CHICAGO to present a wide array of artwork that speaks to environmental issues in Chicago and around the world.
