teamLab to Open 'Unprecedented' Digital Art Museum in Tokyo

Japanese art collective teamLab has partnered with leading urban landscape developer Mori Building Co., Ltd, to open a digital art museum with approximately 50 artworks, some of which have never been displayed before in public. MORI Building Digital Art Museum: teamLab Borderless is divided into five zones, with the artworks installed to have no borders separating them from other works, extending beyond corridors, overlapping, and even fusing with other works. This allows the boundaries between visitors and artwork to be in a state of constant flux, producing "a totally new kind of interactive digital art experience the likes of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world."

MORI Building Digital Art Museum: teamLab Bordelessopens June 21, 2018 at the Mori Building in Tokyo, Japan. For more information on the museum and the works on view, visit teamLab's (opens in a new window) website
