Friday and Saturday September 23 and 24, all day starting at noon 

Self and Other: choreographic interventions by Studio Wayne McGregor 

Wayne McGregor has choreographed a new contemporary dance piece with score by Max Richter in response to Random International’s sculpture Self and Other (2016). Performances will be on the hour from 10 AM to 6 PM on Friday and Saturday of opening week.*timing of the performances will be finalized very soon.

Artist conversation with Random International

Introductory remarks by Dr. Nikolaus Troje, Director of BioMotion Lab and Professor at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario

Pace invites you to an artist conversation with Random International in celebration of their first solo exhibition with the gallery. The artists with Dr. Nikolaus Troje will discuss the collaborative process for the exhibition’s centerpiece, Fifteen Points / I (2016), exploring themes of visual perception, technology and the relationship between humanity and machines. Followed by a Q&A with the audience.

Moderated by Mark Davy, CEO of FutureCity

Pace invites you to an introduction of Future/Pace and its pioneering approach to art in the public realm. Mark Davy, CEO of FutureCity, will moderate a dialogue between an international group of artists making work of scale in an urban setting: Janet Echelman, Random International and Michal Rovner.
