This year, Santa Fe Film Festival presents a screening of Everybody Knows...Elizabeth Murray, a documentary directed by Kristi Zea. The film is an intimate portrait of Murray’s life in art that explores the relationship between the artist’s family life and career. Featuring verité footage, home videos and excerpts from her journals voiced by Meryl Streep, Everybody Knows…Elizabeth Murray tells of Murray’s struggle to break art world barriers and become one of the most preeminent painters in contemporary art.
