The Paris Review Sees Edgar Allan Poe’s Vision of the Universe in “Eureka”

Inspired by the universe’s visual, spatial, and geometric models, artists in Eureka share Poe’s belief that the structure of the known and unknown universe could be shaped into a poem, an artwork, or a book. Max Nelson’s review calls the exhibition “a delightful cabinet of curiosities that riffs playfully…on Eureka’s atmosphere and tone.”

Eureka is on view at Pace, 508 West 25th Street through August 14.
