The National Arts Club and the Office of Fine Arts in New York dedicates the month of November to Ilya and Emilia Kabakov, awarding the duo with The National Arts Club’s Medal of Honor for Lifetime Achievement in Fine Art. Currently on view at The National Arts Club is an exhibition entitled, A Model Point of View, featuring never-before-seen works by the Kabakovs through November 29.
Two opening receptions will take place on Monday, November 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grand Gallery, and on Monday, November 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gregg Gallery. Both galleries are located at The National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, New York. A salon hosted by Emilia Kabakov will take place on November 9. The Kabakovs joined Pace in 2012 and exhibited a self-titled exhibition at the gallery during the 80th birthday celebration of Ilya Kabakov, last fall. In 2013, filmmaker Amei Wallach released the acclaimed biographical documentary, Ilya & Emilia Kabakov: ENTER HERE.
