Keith Coventry to present works at The Henry Moore Foundation, Hertfordshire and Ekaterina Cultural Foundation, Moscow and Lieu d’art Contemporain (L.A.C.) in Sigean, France
Keith Coventry’s Crack City works will be included in a group show at the Nottingham Contemporary. The exhibition is titled ‘Somewhat Abstract’ and is curated by Alex Farquarson. It will be running from 12th April - 29th June 2014.
Next May, one of Keith Coventry’s Kebab sculptures will be on view at Perry Green of The Henry Moore Foundation in the context of the exhibition, Body & Void: Echoes of Moore in Contemporary Art. The exhibition will explore the legacy of the British sculptor Henry Moore.
In June 2014, Keith Coventry will exhibit his Deontological and Estate Paintings in a one-artist exhibition at Lieu d’art Contemporain (L.A.C.) in Sigean, France.
Keith Coventry’s work will also be included in Russia’s first retrospective of the Young British Artists, Challenging Boundaries. Breakthroughs in British Art, 1988-1998. The exhibition is part of a year of Anglo-Russian cultural exchanges and is scheduled to open at Moscow’s Ekaterina Cultural Foundation on 24 September and on view to 14 December 2014.
The exhibitions come after the publication of a limited edition print for the reopening of Tate Britain’s new and renovated spaces. Keith Coventry’s painting ‘Heygate Estate’ will also be included in the upcoming group exhibition, Ruin Lust (from 4th March – 18th May 2014) at Tate Britain.
