The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for managing all networks, servers, routers and switches in the corporate office and gallery spaces. This individual performs a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to enable users to maximize productivity. Plans and develops network resources; evaluates and recommends hardware and software purchases.

What you'll be doing:
  • Manages all networks, servers, routers and switches in the corporate office and gallery spaces.
  • Support all domain users, servers, printers, workstations, handhelds, remote access, etc.
  • Maintain aggressive network backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Ensure virus protection and security on server/desktop/email levels. Ensure all systems are up to date and maintain ongoing upgrade and backup strategies for software systems.
  • Maintain Wide Area Network (WAN) – monitor connectivity between sites, ensure they stay up. Includes administration and support of Cisco (Meraki) routers, firewall, switches, VPN, VLAN, internet connections, etc.
  • Adept in Cyber and InfoSec; manage network security and compliance requirements, Current with modern security threats and defense best practices
  • Make recommendations for the above and all operational expenses of the IT Department.
  • Monitors and plans infrastructure upgrades depending on staff and database growth.
  • Supports phone system and WAN lines so that all offices have quality voice communications.
  • Interface with vendors as necessary for various IT initiatives and projects.
  • Experience with most major cloud systems (AWS, Office 365, Microsoft Suite – Azure, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM/ GP - Domain hosting solutions, etc)
What you'll bring:
  • 4-year Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Windows and Mac OS support.
  • Minimum 4yrs experience with Meraki/MDM
  • Experience with Avaya VoIP/Polycom Systems
  • 2 years of PC hardware and software support.
  • Solid troubleshooting fundamentals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and professional soft skills.
  • Team player with leadership qualities
  • Must be willing to travel site to site within the city
