Production Coordinator

New York

Pace recently settled into a new home at 540 West 25th Street, an eight-story gallery made up of gallery spaces and offices. As Production Coordinator you will work in close partnership with the Events and Pace Live Teams to bring a wide range of performances to life in our dynamic new space.

  • Work with the Events and Curatorial Teams for planning and execution of Pace Live & public programs
  • Event types include: Pace Live (Curatorial), Exhibition-related (public programs)
  • Day-of management of Pace Live and public programs
  • Liaise with Curatorial, Art Resources, and the existing Production team in order to plan and effectively communicate key logistical considerations for all programs
  • Ensure positive and timely communication with vendors and performers
  • Prepare and coordinate budgets, A/V, and rentals for programs in addition to operations and logistics
  • Serve as a liaison with security, facilities, and technical personnel as needed
  • Liaise with Events Department, Gallery Manager, and Operations for event staffing and production needs
  • Track our event productions in our CRM database & online events portal
  • Assist with invoice processing and tracking
  • 5–7 years experience in production, preferably at a museum, art gallery or creative institution
  • Bachelor of Arts degree (Art History, Fine Art or Performing Arts preferred)
  • Knowledge of contemporary visual art and cross-form (dance, music, theater) practice and production
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Strong New York City networks and at least 5 years of experience in cultural production
  • A flexible schedule and ability to react quickly to changing timelines
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
  • Proven ability to perform duties under deadlines
  • Eagerness to take initiative and a positive response to constructive direction
  • Passion for developing forward-thinking, creative solutions and approaches to daily challenges
