Japanese art collective teamLab has partnered with leading urban landscape developer Mori Building Co., Ltd, to open a digital art museum with approximately 50 artworks, some of which have never been displayed before in public. teamLab is planning a digital-only museum which will open in the Mori building in Tokyo in the summer of 2018. Featured on CNN Style, teamLab communications director Takashi Kudo explains, "Everyday will be a different experience. There are difference monitors and projectors (and) people can become part of the work." TeamLab is currently featured in The Universe and Art on view at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo until January 9, 2017.
