This summer, Keith Sonnier will have two concurrent solo exhibitions on Long Island at the Parrish Museum of Art in Water Mill and the Dia Art Foundation's Dan Flavin Art Institute in Bridgehampton. Keith Sonnier: Three Neons/Three Decades opens Saturday, January 28 at the Wadsworth Atheneum. The installation brings together three of Sonnier's neon works, from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s to look at the Sonnier's exploration and creative growth within the medium. In honor of Keith Sonnier's recent exhibition at Pace Gallery, Elysian Plain + Early Works, the Wall Street Journal featured an article on the artist and his work. The exhibition, which was on view from January 24 through February 22, included 12 works in neon featuring the first series created in Sonnier’s new studio in Bridgehampton. Pace Gallery announces an exhibition of new and early work by Keith Sonnier. The exhibition will present 11 works in neon featuring the artist's first series created in his new studio in Bridgehampton. The Elysian Plain series will be on view with early work from the late 1960s. "Elysian Plan + Early Works" will be on view at 510 West 25th Street from January 24 - February 22, 2014. An opening reception will take place on Thursday, January 23 from 6-8pm.
