Pace Gallery is seeking an experienced curator and scholar to support its ambitious global program with a focus on post-war American Art and 20th century art. As a member of Pace’s newly established Curatorial Department, s/he will be focused on working directly with the foundations and artist estates represented by Pace, as well as select senior artists.  The Curator of Estates is responsible for a variety of curatorial and administrative tasks including exhibition research and development; the development of related publications; and writing and editing exhibition-related texts. This role requires significant art historical knowledge of key players in 20th century art, particularly in the post-war period, with an interest in Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, and Minimalism, and maintains an excellent knowledge of the field, including the activities of art galleries, institutions, and related organizations.
