Traveling from the Tate Britain, David Hockney will open at the Centre Pompidou on June 21, 2017. The comprehensive retrospective of over 160 works includes paintings, photographs, engravings, video installations, drawings and printed works from five decades of the artist's career. The exhibition highlights many iconic themes in Hockney's work, such as swimming pools, double portraits and monumental landscapes, as well as his interest in modern technologies.
David Hockney will be on view at the Centre Pompidou in Paris from June 21 through October 23, 2017. The exhibition will then travel to the Metropolitan Museum of Art from November 21, 2017 through February 25, 2018. For more information, visit the Centre Pompidou's website.
