Robert Rauschenberg: Among Friends at MoMA

Robert Raushcenberg is an artist best known for his spirit of innovation, commitment to egalitarian materials, and collaborative, interdisciplinary practice which produced a groundbreaking body of work during the course of his career. Robert Rauschenberg: Among Friends is the first 21st-century retrospective for the artist examining six decades of his work, with over 250 paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and sound and video recordings. This exhibition presents a visual mapping of artistic collaboration with the inclusion of artists who influenced and worked with Rauschenberg, such as John Cage, Merce Cunningham, and Jasper Johns.

Having traveled from the Tate Modern, the exhibition will be on view at MoMA in New York from May 21 through September 17, 2017. For more information, visit MoMA's website
