New York Times Features "Calder / Miró: Constellations"

Arthur Lubow of the New York Times interviewed Alexander S.C. Rower, President of the Calder Foundation, and Joan Punyet Miró, Managing Director of Successió Miró, about the lasting frienship between their grandfathers, Alexander Calder and Joan Miró. Joan Punyet Miró notes, "The communion that existed between Calder and Miró was mystical."

They also discuss the series of Constellations created by both artists while they were separated by the Atlantic during WWII, and the process of bringing these works together for the parallel exhibitions, Calder: Constellations at Pace Gallery through June 30 and Miró: Constellations at Acquavella Galleries through May 26.
