Loie Hollowell Joins Pace

Pace Gallery is pleased to announce its representation of Loie Hollowell. The gallery will present her recent work, Lingam Twist in Blue and Orange (2016) at FOG Design+Art, booth 201, which runs from January 12 through 15 in San Francisco, CA.

Hollowell’s paintings represent the body as a landscape through geometric form, vivid color and a symbolic language. “Loie Hollowell’s work shows extraordinary maturity. Her treatment of the body landscape and sacred geometry connects her to many of Pace’s great artists, from Agnes Martin to Elizabeth Murray. She is truly a rare talent. Despite her age, the importance of her work is evident,” says Marc Glimcher, Pace Gallery President. Hollowell’s first show at the gallery will be in the Fall of 2017 in Palo Alto, CA.
