Louise Nevelson is the subject of a solo exhibition at the Moderna Museet opening September 9, 2017. This exhibition looks at the trajectory of Nevelson's expansive artistic career, examining closely her large-scale sculptures as connected to her practice in collage. From all matte-black wooden sculptures to collages composed with newspaper clippings, Nevelson's work was rooted in the "poetic observations of the overlooked objects." Reflections: Louise Nevelson, 1967 gathers archival material, installations photographs, correspondence, and artist-drawn floor plans to mark the 50th anniversary of the ground-breaking exhibition.
