The Met Extends "Lucas Samaras: Offerings from a Restless Soul"

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has extended Lucas Samaras: Offerings from a Restless Soul through September 1, 2014. Designed with input from the artist, the exhibition features over 60 works drawn primarily from the Museum’s rich collection of highly idiosyncratic work made by Lucas Samaras. The exhibition includes both abstract works from the 1960s and digitally based pieces from the past decade and is located in the Lila Acheson Wallace Wing for Modern and Contemporary Art, North and South Mezzanines, Galleries 914 and 916.
