The New York Times announces Storm King Art Center's upcoming exhibition of Chinese artist Zhang Huan's outdoor sculpture. Opening May 3, 2014, the show is organized by David R. Collens, Storm King director, with Melissa Chiu, director of the Asia Society. Storm King has previously exhibited Zhang Huan's monumental 28-foot-tall, 12-ton copper and steel sculpture Three Legged Buddha (2007), which will also be on view during the exhibition. The artist recently unveiled his new Poppy Fields painting series at Pace Gallery in New York, this past September.
