  • FOG Design + Art Fair

New York—Pace is pleased to announce its participation in the 2015 edition of the FOG Design + Art Fair, marking its return to the Bay Area after its 2014 pop-up gallery in Menlo Park. From January 15 to 18, 2015 at the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion in San Francisco, Pace will exhibit works by leading international artists whose practices span movements and media.

Pace will present recent sculptures and tapestries by Kiki Smith. The subject of a 2005 retrospective at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Smith’s recent work continues her exploration of the spiritual as expressed in the natural world.

Coinciding with his commission at the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, the booth will also include a selection of works produced in the last two decades by Richard Tuttle. Since the 1960s, Tuttle has pursued a unique approach to sculpture and materials, which was surveyed in his 2005 retrospective organized by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

Pace will also feature works by Conceptual art pioneer Sol LeWitt including an extremely rare, black LeWitt structure that derives its form from a mathematical formula. Several gouaches offer a more lyrical version of his systematic approach to art. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art hosted two solo exhibitions of LeWitt’s work during his life, including a landmark retrospective.
